Continaer Robinson-Evans, 52, of Phenix City, AL passed Sunday, February 15, 2026 in Phenix City, AL.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. EST on Saturday, February 28, 2026 at Pine Hill Missionary Baptist Church, 337 10th Avenue, Phenix City, AL with Pastor J.C. Fryer, officiating. Interment will follow at Evening Sunset Memorial Gardens, 3952 Old Seale Road, Phenix City, AL. Public visitation is 1:00 p.m to 5:00 p.m. EST on Friday, February 27, 2026 at Taylor Funeral Home.
Ms. Robinson graced this life with her presence on January 13, 1974. She was born in Phenix City, AL to Essie Mae Robinson and the late Harmon King, III. She was a beloved mother, sister, aunt, and cousin. She peacefully departed this life on February 15, 2026 at the home of her mother in Phenix City, AL.
She accepted Christ at an early age and joined Pine Hill Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. F.F. Andrews in Phenix City, AL. She worked as a customer service representative for several years at Aflac in Columbus, GA and later became a production worker at Hyundai Powertrain in West Point, GA. She had a passion for cooking, gardening, and spending time with family as she would always say, “I love my family”.
She was preceded in death by her son, Curtis Lee James, Jr., her father, Harmon King, III; two brothers, Demetrius King and Mandel King; maternal and paternal grandparents, aunts and uncles.
She leaves to cherish her precious memories, two daughters, Tyra James and Caniyah James; her mother, Essie Mae Robinson; five sisters, Clarissa Robinson, Noreen King, Kenyatta Fluellen, Tricemetrius King, and Crystal King (Terrell) all of Phenix City, AL; ten nephews; four nieces; five great nieces; two great nephews; a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends that hold many memories.
