Mr. Timothy “Scrap” Harris, 33, of Phenix City, AL passed on Sunday, April 26, 2026 in Columbus, GA.

Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. EST., Saturday, May 9, 2026 at Bethel A.M.E. Church, Phenix City, AL. Burial in Ft. Mitchell National Cemetery. Visitation will be 12:00 noon to 5:00 p.m. EST, Friday, May 8, 2026 at Taylor Funeral Home.

Timothy Terrell Harris, lovingly known as “Scrap” by his family and friends, was born on December 2, 1992, in Columbus, Georgia, to Charline Chadwick, Phillip Matthews. On Sunday, April 26, 2026, he departed this life at Midtown Medical Center.

At an early age, Timothy confessed Christ as his Lord and Savior while attending Twelve Disciples Baptist Church, laying a spiritual foundation that remained with him throughout his life.

Timothy was a proud graduate of Central High School, Class of 2011, where he was crowned Homecoming King—a true reflection of his vibrant spirit and the love others had for him. He furthered his education at Wiley University in Marshall, Texas, and later attended Rivertown Beauty and Barber School to pursue his passion for barbering.

He became a well-known and respected barber at L’z Style’z and Cut’z in Phenix City, Alabama, where his talent and personality left a lasting impression on everyone he encountered. Timothy also served his country as a United States Army veteran, including service in South Korea.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Curtis and April Lee Mathews, Sr.; his uncle, Curtis Mathews, Jr.; and his mentor and big cousin, Larry G. Thomas and his step-father Charmaine Mitchell.

He leaves to cherish his memory his loving parents: Charline (Rashawn) King, Phillip Mathews. His beloved children, Queso Harris and Savani Dixon-Harris; his siblings, Vanderrius, Travian, Lila, Tyra, and Tyrek Chadwick; Tia, Demarcus, Timothy, Jr., Aniyah, Jayden, and Emersyn Harris; and Ian Mathews; his grandparents, Deloris Thomas, George (Dorothy) Chadwick, George (Bernice) Harris, Sr., and Wyvonia Jackson; his aunts, Mia Chadwick, Monica Hicks, Michelle (Corey) Baker, Kelinda (Darren) Morten, and Tanya Hardge; his uncles, Clinton and Bradley Chadwick, Robert and Freddie Mathews, and George Harris, Jr.; his great-uncles, Eugene (Elaine) Thomas, Wardell (Karla) Chadwick, Henry and J.C. Chadwick, and Marshall and James Lewis; his great-aunts, Gloria Sims, Juanita (Lee) Feagins, Cynthia and Rene Harris, Lula (Delane) Thomas, Florie Mathews, Mary Hoskins, and Nora Lee (Rufus) Harris; his great-great-aunts, Lucy and Sadie Simmons; his special nephews and niece, Laderrius Parker, Noah Harris, and Natalie Harris; along with a host of cousins, loved ones, classmates, and dear friends.

Timothy fought many battles within himself. Now, he is free from the weight he carried in this world and rests peacefully, forever in God’s care.

He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. He cherished his family, enjoyed having fun, and had a deep love for music. His presence brought light, laughter, and warmth into every room he entered.
