MR. JAMES THOMAS LEDBETTER, lovingly known to many as “James Boy” peacefully departed this life a day before his 65th birthday, Thursday, April 30, 2026, while a patient at Atrium Health-Pineville, North Carolina. He is now singing in the Heavenly Choir with his family and many friends.

The Homegoing Services will be on Saturday, May 9, 2026, 1:00pm, Smith's Memorial Chapel, 604 Salisbury Street, Wadesboro, North Carolina. Interment will follow the service at Westview Memorial Park, Polklton, North Carolina.

The Ledbetter Family will greet family and friends on Saturday, May 9, 2026 from 12:30-1:00pm at Smith's Memorial Chapel.

The public viewing will be on Friday, May 8, 2026 from 1:00-5:00pm at Smitg's Funeral Home.
