James Earl Wilson, 90, of Vanceboro died Tuesday at Bayview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

His funeral service is 11:00 AM, Saturday, May 9, 2026 at Oscar's Memorial Chapel 1700 Oscar Drive. Burial will follow at the Ewell Cemetery, Vanceboro.

He is survived by his wife, Brenda Wilson of Vanceboro; one son, Jamar Richmond of Asheville, NC; three daughters, Sandra Dorner of Bowie MD; Robin Wilson and Tonja Pena both of Maryland; three stepsons, Edward Williams, Jamal Williams and Andre Davis all of Vanceboro; one stepdaughter, Jasmine Vega of Vanceboro.
