Roy Rogers Mosley, Sr., age 85, of Stockton, passed away peacefully on May 7, 2026, surrounded by his loving children. Born on September 13, 1940, he was the beloved son of the late Willie and Mamie Mosley. He lived a long and meaningful life marked by dedication to his family, strong values, and a quiet strength that guided those around him.

Mr. Mosley worked for many years as a Foreman with Lee Engineering Company in Homerville. In this role, he positively impacted the lives of many young men by introducing and mentoring them in the workforce. After retiring from Lee Engineering Company, he continued serving his community as a school bus driver with the Lanier County Board of Education, where he faithfully worked for 10 years before retiring. He was known for his hard work, dedication, wisdom, and guidance. Outside of work, he enjoyed fishing, gardening and planting, fixing things, and attending church.

He leaves to cherish his memories his children: Joanne (Johnny) Hunter, Roy Jr. (Cassandra) Mosley, Heneretta (Rodney) Fake, Darrell (Audrey) Mosley, Eric (Reginna) Mosley, shared with his former wife, Corine Mosley; and Janice Morrison, whom he lovingly raised with his wife, Martha Mosley, who preceded him in death. He is also survived by 21 grandchildren: Reggie, Leetoria, Dee, Aaron, Big Darrell, Darrell Jr., Terrell, Deshawn, Brandon, Zandrae, Eric Jr., Jasmine, Lekeevia, Teddy, Vertez, TC, Marcus, Jermaine, Whitney, Angie, and Ryan; along with a host of great-grandchildren and four special nieces Harriet, Doris, Patty Jo, and Erma.

He was preceded in death by his seven siblings; two daughters; and one granddaughter, Lucy.

A Celebration of life for Mr. Roy Rogers Mosley, Sr. will be held on Tuesday, May 12 at 1:00 P. M. at New Prospect Missionary Baptist Church Rev. Eddie L. Currie is the pastor, and Rev. Tony Sirmons will officiate. The burial will follow in the Foreman Cemetery.
