MOTHER BERNICE JOHNSON ROSS, a pillar in the Morven community took her rest on Thursday, May 7, 2026 at the age of 91. She was surrounded by her loving and dedicated daughter and grandchildren.

The Homegoing Services will be on Sunday, May 17, 2026, 2:00pm, Smith's Memorial Chapel, 604 Salisbury Street, Wadesboro, North Carolina. Interment will be in the family plot of Galilee AME Zion Church Cemetery, Morven, North Carolina.

The family will be receiving friends and family on Sunday, May 17, 2026 from 1:30-2:00pm at Smith's Memorial Chapel and at all other times at 8316 US Highway 52 South, Morven, North Carolina.

The public viewing will be on Saturday, May 16, 2026 from 2:00-5:00pm.
