Mr. Forest Edward Vinson, 76, of Cherryville, NC passed away on Saturday, May 9, 2026 at Atrium Health-Cleveland in Shelby, NC. He was born in Cleveland County on November 17, 1949 to the late Leroy Vinson, Sr. and Alvesta Clements Vinson.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, May 18, 2026, at Hope Community Church, 312 East Stagecoach Trail, Lawndale, NC at 2:00 p.m. with burial in the Jones Tabernacle CME Church cemetery. The reception of family and friends will be from 1:30 until 2 p.m.
