Mr. “Homer Lee” Hill, 76, of Phenix City, AL passed Monday, May 11, 2026 in Phenix City, AL.

Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. EST., Tuesday, May 19, 2026 at Pine Hill Baptist Church, Phenix City, AL with Rev. Jimmy Fryer, officiating. Burial in Edmonds Cemetery. Public visitation will be held 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. EST., Monday, May 18, 2026.

"Homer Lee" was born August 25, 1949 in Phenix City, AL, son of the late Eugene and Louise Hill. A hard working, one arm man, who never let his handicap kept him from working as hard as a person with two arms. A devoted baseball player, playing first base for the Alabama Red Sox and the Indianapolis Clowns. He worked at Premium Beverage for 46 years.

He was preceded in death by three brothers, Jessie Hill, Curtis Hill and Eddie Hill.

"Homer Lee" is survived by a devoted wife of 33 years, Diane Hill; three daughters, Jacqueline Lyles, Elaine Lee and Melissa Lee; son, Daniel Lee (Shanda); two brothers, Albert (Tammy) Hill and Edward Hill; three sisters, Annie Allen (Solomon), Lizzy Hill, and Mary Peterson; aunt, Ruby Fleming; 12 grandchildren, Monquelo Lee, Montavious Lee, Keyon Lyles, Adrian Lyles, Jacorey McGruder, Niyla Shay Black, Marketta Black, Jasmine Black, Danielle Pough (Dexter), Terri Starks, Larreon Lee and Ashlee Butler; 19 great grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends.
