Bernadine Edwards of Manson departed this life on May 15, 2026, at Duke University Hospital in Durham, North Carolina.

A Celebration of Life for Mrs. Bernadine Edwards will be held on Friday, May 29, 2026, at 11:30 a.m. in the sanctuary of Oak Level United Church of Christ in Manson, North Carolina. The Reverend Douglas Wooten will officiate, and burial will follow in the Oak Level United Church of Christ Cemetery.

Bernadine leaves to cherish her loving memory: her son, Wendell “Stan” Edwards; her granddaughters, Skyler Edwards and Shantajah Marshall; her sister, Melray Bullock; brothers-in-law, Reginald Bullock and Charles Green; nieces, Linda Mitchell, Deborah Bullock, Regina Ferguson, and Judith Green; nephews, Reginald C. Bullock and Charles Green; and a host of great-nieces, great-nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.

She may be viewed on Thursday, May 28, 2026, in the Chapel of Boyd & Royster from 1:00pm - 5:00pm.
