Deltina Elizabeth Green-Glass

Deltina Elizabeth Green Glass, affectionately known as “Tot,” was born on July 25, 1975, in Knoxville, Tennessee. She was the daughter of Odell Glass and Brenda Green. She was a graduate of Austin East High School, Class of 1994. After graduation, she was a Computer Tech, a Pharmacy Tech, Juvenile Child Support Clerk, and a CNA at Hillcrest North. She was a graduate of National College with high honors, attaining a degree as a medical assistant.

Deltina was a hard worker. She loved to listen to music, play cards, dance, and she loved going to family gatherings. She was a dedicated mother who loved her children unconditionally and found joy in spending time with family and friends.

She departed this life on May 16, 2026, in Knoxville, Tennessee. She was preceded in death by her father, Odell Luther Glass, Sr.; her grandmother, Mary Elizabeth Green; grandfather, James Wade; grandparents: Edgar & Mae Francis Glass; great-grandparents: Roy & Ressie (Westfield) Green; grandson, Jaceon Spears; aunts: Terri Lynn Green, Lettie Glass, and Shirley Dickey; and uncles: Lucius, William, Jake, Jimmy, and Claude Glass; cousin, Jeffrey Penson Jr.

She leaves to cherish her fond memories, her loving mother, Brenda Green; very devoted brother, Marcus Green; children: Brittney; Rakeela Griffin, Da’Niya Blair, Hezekiah Green; grandchildren: Da’Nie Robinson and Amize Spears; aunts: Margaret Coleman, Anna Higley, Jamesina Nolan, Mattie Hines; uncle: Gregory (Connie) Thompson; cousins: Tomeika Green, Tony Williams Jr, Derek Delaney Jr, Tamesha Delaney, Shanae Green, Tony Williams III, Marcus Williams, Messiah Williams, Truce Delaney; extended family: Bobbie Glass, Marie Glass, Michael Glass, George Harper, Jean Ann Harper, Kristi Harper, Ericka Lopez, Ricky McGinnis, Lisa (Vernon) Sherden, Elizabeth Harper Sullivan, Bruce and Johnny Taylor; devoted pet: Rio devoted friends: Toya Cason, Kenny Funches, Jerry Anderson and family, Elena Banks, Raffell Griffin Sr., Gloria Davis, Donald Blair Jr., Peaches Lanxter, David Gillette, Monica McAlister McMullen, Deadrea Mobley, Shameka Mobley, and LaTravia Williams and other friends too numerous to name.

The family will receive friends on Friday, May 29, 2026, from 12-1:00 p.m. with the Celebration of Life Service to begin at 1:00 p.m. at the Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 2714 Brooks Avenue, Knoxville, where Rev. Renee Kesler will be officiating and Rev. Steve Simpson as eulogist.

The final resting place will be at the Berry Lynnhurst Cemetery immediately following the service. A dove release will conclude in her honor.
