02/05/1950 - 05/15/2026

Mr. Jimmy L. Caslin was born on February 5, 1950, in Barnesville, Lamar County, Georgia, to the late Mrs. Beatrice Maddox Caslin and the late Mr. Jim James Caslin. Jimmy was the fifth child born among eight siblings.

He was raised in a Christian home and, at an early age, joined Greater Springhill Baptist Church in Milner, Georgia. He was educated in the Lamar County School System and graduated with the Booker High School Class of 1968.

Jimmy was united in holy matrimony to Mrs. Carol Ann Eleby Caslin. Their union was blessed with five handsome sons. Jimmy was known as a hardworking man who faithfully provided for his family. Throughout his working career, he was employed by several companies in the surrounding areas, including Rustin, Highland, Dundee, Thomaston Mills, and Southeastern Freight Lines, where he worked as a dock worker until his retirement.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one daughter, four brothers, and one sister. On May 15, 2026, God called His son home to rest with our Heavenly Father.
