Angela Renita Jones, 61, of Columbus, GA passed on Wednesday, May 27, 2026 in Columbus, GA.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. EST on Saturday, June 6, 2026 in the C.T. Chapel of Taylor Funeral Home with Minister Terrence Wade, eulogist. Burial to follow at Green Acres Cemetery. Public viewing will be from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. EST on Friday, June 5, 2026.

Angela Renita Jones was born May 9, 1965 to Robert Wade, Sr. and Ella Mae Louder Wade in Columbus, GA.Her journey began with love, family and faith as the foundation of her life. In 1983, she graduated from Kendrick High School, and years that followed were filled with purpose, service and countless blessings.

For 45 years, playful banter, love and friendship was shared with Lorenzo Jones, Sr., and 40 of those years, they were joined together in Holy Matrimony. There union was blessed with ten beautiful children, each one a treasured gift and a reflection of the love they built together.

Serving others was a meaningful part of her life. For 36 years, her heart and hands were dedicated to the Hughston Clinic, where countless patients were cared for with compassion, patience, and commitment. Work was more than a job, it was a calling. For more than ten years being an Avon representative also allowed her to build meaningful relationships, connect with others and help people feel their very best.

On May 27, 2026, surrounded by her loving family, she departed this earthly life. After valiantly fighting breast cancer and leukemia, peace is now hers. Wrapped in God's love, she is watching over each of you. Do not be sad for her. Celebrate her life, love and the beautiful memories created and shared together. She will always be with us.

She was preceded in death by her grandchild, Corey Jones.
