Mrs. Linda Faye Glenn, 72, of Waverly Hall, GA passed on Sunday, May 31, 2026 in Columbus, GA.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. EST on Saturday, June 13, 2026 at New Testament Christian Center Church, Columbus, GA with Bishop James Lewis, Pastor, officiating. Burial to follow in Green Acres Cemetery. No public viewing.

There are some people whose love is so constant, so selfless, and so deeply woven into the lives of those around them that it is impossible to imagine a world without them. Our mother, Linda F. Glenn, was one of those people.

Linda was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to Essie Bryant and William Little, both of whom preceded her in death. To many, she was a sister, aunt, niece, cousin, and dear friend. To her grandchildren, she would become Little Nana. But to us, she was simply Mom.

Linda shared a beautiful love story with her husband, Gary Glenn Sr. Together for 53 years and married for 51, they built a life centered around love, commitment, faith, and family. They met while working at Philco Ford in Lansdale, Pennsylvania, where Linda worked as a Quality Control Inspector. In 1994, they moved to Georgia and continued building the life and family they cherished.

Her strength was rooted in her faith. A faithful member of New Testament Christian Center, Linda trusted God through every season of her life. One of her favorite scriptures was Philippians 4:13, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." Anyone who knew Linda saw those words reflected in the way she lived her life. Through every challenge she faced, she continued moving forward with courage, grace, and an unwavering determination to be there for the people she loved.

She lived for her family. She fought for her family. No matter what she was going through, she made sure we were okay. Even during the hardest seasons of her life, she somehow found the strength to keep loving, giving, encouraging, and showing up for all of us.

She wanted to be there for every milestone. From birthdays and graduations to family celebrations and everyday moments, Mom showed up. She celebrated our victories and carried us through our struggles.

She was our biggest supporter, our loudest cheerleader, our safe place, and our source of strength. She made each of us feel important, loved, and supported. Her family was her greatest joy, and there was nothing she wouldn't do for the people she loved.

Whether you called her Mom, Little Nana, wife, sister, aunt, cousin, niece, or friend, you knew you were loved.

Linda leaves behind her devoted husband, Gary Glenn Sr.; her daughter, Chiquita "Quita" Harvey and her husband, Wayne Harvey; her daughter, Karie Tarboro and her husband, Robert Tarboro; her son, Gary Glenn Jr.; her grandsons, Tyreese Harvey, Brandon Tarboro, Alex Tarboro, and Cameron Harvey; her granddaughter, Taylor Tarboro; her brothers, Charlie Williams (Glenda) and Anthony "Butchie" Little (Sharon); her sister, Doretha Ballard; sister-in-law Ola Glenn and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, extended family members, and friends who will forever cherish her memory.

Her absence leaves a space that can never be filled, but her love remains in every lesson she taught, every sacrifice she made, every tradition she created, and every life she touched.
