She is survived by her husband, Bishop Mark Wharton, Sr. of the home; loving parents, Ernestine Morris and Danny Golson; her beloved children, Myeshia Whitehead (Terrance), Mark Wharton Jr. (Mesepa), Chai Morris-Green (Emmanuel), Enc Evans Jr. (Miia), Christian Evans (Porsche),Roland Evans, Nathaniel Wharton, Mariah Wharton, Aniya Wharton, Amiya Wharton; seventeen grandchildren; her siblings, Larissa Morris, Havelock, NC, Julias Gardner, Anastasia Golson, Charlotte, NC, Danica Golson, Columbia, SC and Angel Mosieri (Eby), Alpharetta, GA; aunt, Callie Edwards, New Bern, NC; uncle, Jimmy Ray Morris, Havelock, NC and a host of extended family and loved ones.

Pastor Davina Wharton was preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Erika Cogdell-Wharton.
