Born on October 6th, 1989, LeAndra was a vibrant presence in the lives of her mother and father, Diana Richardson-Chatman and Leon Wells.

Punkin, as she was affectionately known, accepted Christ at an early age and joined Southside Baptist Church. She was a proud graduate of Munford High School, Class of 2009. Known for her vivacious spirit and impeccable sense of style, she found joy in dressing up with full makeup, getting her hair done, and enjoying good soul food. Leandra cherished moments spent with family and friends, creating lasting memories with those she held dear.

LeAndra is survived by her devoted sisters, Tosha (Tim) Young of Oxford, AL and Nakki Speer of Homewood, AL; brothers, Cedric (Pierangeli) Richardson of Killeen, TX, Lekea (Fallon) Morris of Alpine, AL and Dontae (Rickita) Wheeler of Odena, AL. Her loving aunts, Mary Lou (Lawrence) Bush of Prattville, AL, Annie Mae (Billy) Curry of Talladega, AL, and Katinka Wells of Sylacauga, AL, as well as her uncles, Randy (Mary Nashay) Whitson and Eddie Whitson, Jr. of Talladega, AL, Terry Whitson of Houston, TX, Bishop Kenneth (Sheila W.) Monroe of North Carolina, and Michael (Tracey) Stone of Sylacauga, AL, also mourn her passing.

She was lovingly supported by her bonus sisters and brothers: LeKeatra Truss, Kashiri Elston, Tereka Ragland, LaShonda Borden, LaTerris Moten, and Stantavious Sistrunk. LeAndra's extended family, including numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends, joins in celebrating her brief yet impactful life.

A beloved daughter, sister, and friend, who left us too soon on Tuesday, April 21st, 2026, at the age of 36. LeAndra was preceded in death by her cherished parents, Diana Richardson-Chatman and Leon Wells; her sister, Sharon Richardson; and her grandparents, Elizabeth and Eddie Whitson and Mona Lee and John Wells. Their reunion in the afterlife brings comfort to those she leaves behind.
