Mr. Louis Calvin “L.C.” Haynes, 89 of Shelby, NC passed away on Thursday, April 24, 2026 at Atrium Health-Cleveland in Shelby, NC. He was born on January 5, 1937, in Cleveland County, NC to the late Eddie Haynes and Cora Lumpkin Haynes

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 5, 2026, at S.T. Enloe Memorial Chapel in Shelby at 2:00 pm. Burial will take place at Sunset Cemetery in Shelby. The reception of family and friends will be from 1:30 pm until 2:00 pm at the Chapel.
