OBITUARY:

Louise Cox was born on January 29, 1954, in Holmes County, Mississippi, to the late Lula Mae Mayze and Leroy Mayze. Her life was a beautiful reflection of love, strength, and selfless devotion to her family. On July I, 2026, she answered God's call, leaving behind a legacy of love, kindness, and cherished memories that will forever live in the hearts of those who loved her.

She leaves to cherish her precious memory her beloved children: Billy (Denise) Cox, Robert Cox, and Tiffany Cox.

Louise found her greatest joy in being "Grandma." She was the proud grandmother of Dominique Bates, Billy Lee Cox III, Imaria Claiborne, Xavier Lishman, Kevin Thomas Cox Tyrin Cox, Khiree(Mariah) Pugh-Cox, Tyree Pugh-Cox, Tamia Cox, Marshall Santiago, Dehmoni Dean, Noah Cox, and Kai'lani Cox.

She also leaves to cherish her legacy through her great-grandchildren: Siyanna, Kevin (Kj) ,Athena, Legend, Angel, Lyla, Amora, Tyrin (Tyly), Kahleigh, Mckenna,Miyah, and Aubrielle.

She is also lovingly remembered by seven sisters and six brothers:Zenester Mayze; Lula C. Mayze of Thornton, Mississippi; Sarah J. Mayze; Lillie Mae (Tommie) Albright of Chicago, Illinois; Judy Wilson; Verdia Wilson; and Annie Mae Wilson. She also leaves to cherish her precious memory six brothers: Charles (June) Mayze of Tchula, Mississippi; Leroy Mayze, Sr. of Peoria, Illinois;

Waddel (Teresa) Mayze of Yazoo City, Mississippi; and Tracy Mayze, Clifton Mayze, and Willie Lee Mayze, all of Tehula, Mississippi.

She also leaves behind a host of devoted nieces, nephews, cousins, other loving relatives, and dear friends whose lives were forever touched by her love.
