David Jeffrey Simpson, Sr, 63, of Greenville, NC was called to rest on Monday, July 20, 2026.

Viewing hours are 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Thursday, July 30th at Oscar's Mortuary.

His Funeral Service is Noon, Friday, July 31, 2026 at Temple Baptist Church 1500 Kingdom Way, New Bern, NC. The Interment will follow at the Sanders Memorial Gardens Cemetery, David & Alvania Sanders Lane, Perrytown Community of New Bern.

The family will receive friends at 3575 River Rd. Vanceboro beginning Wednesday July 29th at 4pm through Thursday.

He is survived by his children, David Simpson, Jr, (Rosalia) Vanceboro, NC, Tatianna Simpson, Vanceboro, NC, Kahlil Simpson, New Bern, NC and Hydiyah Simpson of New Bern, NC; twelve grandchildren; one great grandchild; four brothers, Jesse Simpson, Winston Salem, NC, and Guy Garrison, Brooklyn, NY, Brian Garrison, Atlanta GA, Robert Davis, Winston Salem, NC; three sisters, Valerie Sanders of Greensboro, NC, Michelle Mobley, Queens, NY and Amelia Simpson, Marietta, GA.
