Ralph J. Gray, Jr.

Funeral service for Ralph James Gray, Jr. 64, will be Friday, July 31, 2026 at 1 pm the Friendship Missionary Baptist Church with Pastor Carlton Phillips, officiating, Apostle Alisa Gilbert, eulogist. Interment will follow in Eden Hills Cemetery. Mr. Gray passed away on July 20, 2026. Mr. Gray's remains will arrive at the church one hour prior to his service.

He graduated from Anniston High School in 1980. Later he attended J.F. Drake Community College in Huntsville, AL where he earned his Barber License. Ralph was a member of Friendship Missionary Baptist Church where he sung in the Male Choir. Later he joined God's House of Glory where he served as Head Deacon. Ralph was the oldest member of the Old Skool Boyz, a die hard Alabama Fan, awesome cook, and always the life of the party.

Survivors include his wife of 31 years, Sherry Gray; his son: Robert (Nelly) Malloy; his daughter: Destiny "Baby Girl" Gray; grandchildren: Elijah and Avery Malloy; his siblings: Belinda Gray, Pamela Gray, Marion Gray (Lajuan), Chandler Gray (Shanderico), nieces, nephews and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph, Sr. and Armor Jean Gray, and nephew, Lawrence Maurice Gray.
