Her Service is 1:00 PM, Tuesday, August 4, 2026 at UPHC, 801 Hwy. 70 East, Historic James City Community, New Bern. The Interment will follow at The Wallace Family Cemetery.

Friends will be received at the residence of Mr. & Mrs. Melvin & Darlene Roberson 545 Maul Swamp Road, Vanceboro.

Viewing hours are 1:30 PM to 5:00 PM Saturday, August 1, 2026.

She is survived by her husband, Melvin Roberson Jr., of the home; son, Gauje Roberson of Vanceboro; two daughters, Courtney Brown, Vanceboro and Jimia Brown, Jacksonville, NC; grandsons, Jace Hargett and Carter Roberts; brother, Jeffrey Staten (Sabine) of Holland; two sisters, Courtney Moore Jones (Anthony), Charlotte, NC and Letitia Bumbrey (Prescott), Manassas, VA; mother & father-in-law, Darlene Roberson & Melvin Roberson, Sr., Vanceboro; sister and brothers-in-law, Alander Brickhouse (Joshua), Greenville, NC & Henry Wallace, Greensboro,NC.
