Lavone Gist, age 76, of Spartanburg, South Carolina, peacefully departed this life on July 27, 2026. She was born on September 18, 1949, to Benjamin Patterson and Lacora Patterson.

Lavone was a devoted mother, grandmother, family member, and friend. She leaves behind her only son, Brian Williams, three cherished grandchildren, and a host of loving family members and dear friends who will forever treasure her memory.

She will be remembered for the love she shared, the kindness she showed to others, and the lasting impact she made on everyone who knew her. Though she is no longer with us, her spirit and the memories she created will remain in the hearts of those who loved her.

Lavone's life was a testament to the importance of family, love, and perseverance. She will be deeply missed but lovingly remembered by all whose lives she touched.
