Funeral services for Gale Hollamo Slate, 67, of Tunica, Ms formerly of Mound Bayou, Ms will be held Saturday, August 8, 2026 at 11am at Greater Bethel AME Church of Mound Bayou, Ms with burial in Mound Bayou Memorial Garden #2 under the direction Johnson and Scott Mortuary. She died Sunday, August 2, 2026 at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Desoto, Southaven, Ms.

Visitation will be held Friday, August 7, 2026 from 3-6pm at Greater Bethel AME Church.
