Charles Robert Scott, 91, was born on April 18, 1935, passed on Tuesday, August 4, 2026, surrounded by his loving wife of 56 years, Emilie.
Scott was a 1954 graduate of Hillside High School where he was a star basketball athlete. After graduation he attended Fayetteville State University returning to Durham, his sophomore year. He was drafted into the United States Army where he served as a medical specialist until his honorable discharge. He retired from the Radiology Department of the VA in 1993 after 30 years of service.
