Frank Whittingham Jr. arrived in this world on March 4, 1953. His proud parents, Ruth (nee Kerr) Whittingham and Frank Whittingham Sr., welcomed him with much joy and happiness. "Baby Frankie," as he was affectionately known to his family and friends in his early years, was a happy, bubbly, and bouncy toddler.
Suddenly, at the age of about four, Frankie was afflicted with an unknown illness, resulting in his continuous confinement to various institutions for the rest of his life. Frank participated in the numerous programs offered at his residences during his life time on earth.
His parents were always supportive and thankful for all the care and kindness shown to him by the staff wherever he resided.
A special shout out to his beloved (now deceased) mother, Ruth Whittingham, who voluntarily gave her time, support, and appreciation to all the staff wherever he lived. We appreciate all the dedication, care, and support made out to our dear Frank until his demise.
Frank leaves to cherish his memory his cousins, Herbert Jones, Aziza Zaid, and Amir Zaid; his daughters, Nyely Zaid, Christopher Jones and his family; and the large number of Shaw family and cousins in New York.
