Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 15, 2026, at 11:00 A.M. at Washington Chapel A.M.E. Church, Tuskegee Institute, AL, Rev. Trevor Woolridge, Pastor, McKenzie's Funeral Home Staff, directing. Interment will be held in the Beaufort National Cemetery, Beaufort, SC, on Tuesday, August 18, 2026, Marshel's Wright-Donaldson Funeral Home, directing. Visitation will be held on Friday, August 14, 2026, from 2:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. at the funeral home.

Mr. Washington will lie in state one hour prior to the service.
