Mrs. Betty J. Brown, 76, of Jackson, Mississippi, was born on December 3, 1949, to John Anderson Hughes and Lelia Mae Shirley Hughes in Steens, Mississippi.

Mrs. Brown was a dedicated office manager who served with professionalism and compassion throughout her career.

She transitioned peacefully on Wednesday, August 5, 2026, at Mississippi Baptist Medical Center, surrounded by the love and comfort of her family.
