Leslie Benson

Leslie Benson, 54, of Chester, South Carolina, entered into the presence of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on August 7, 2026.

Born on September 21, 1971, in Chester, South Carolina, Leslie was a lifelong resident of Chester and a woman whose faith and love for family were at the center of her life. She found joy in the simple things, especially spending time with her husband, watching movies together, and sharing life's everyday moments. Her love for Jesus guided her throughout her life and was evident in the kindness and warmth she extended to others.

Leslie was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Judy McNinch of Chester, South Carolina.

She leaves behind her devoted husband of 10 years, Robin Benson, of Chester, South Carolina. She is also survived by her three sisters, Phyllis Baker (Eric), Kimberly Gaston (Adreal), and Mary Stringfellow (Shadrick), all of Chester, South Carolina; her brother, Marty McNinch (Cheryl); multiple nieces and nephews; and her beloved cat, who brought her much comfort and companionship.

Leslie's faith in Jesus was the foundation of her life. She cherished the time spent with her husband, especially enjoying movies together and the many simple moments that made life special. Her caring spirit, unwavering faith, and love for her family will be remembered by all who knew her.

Though her time on earth was far too short, Leslie's legacy of faith, love, and kindness will remain in the hearts of those she leaves behind. Her family finds comfort in knowing that she is at peace in the presence of her Savior.

Interment will be private.
