Funeral service for Ricky Benford, 68, of Opelika, AL, will be at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, August 15, 2026, at Harris Funeral Home Chapel with interment in Evergreen Cemetery, 1409 Monroe Avenue, Opelika, AL 36801, Pastor Michael Ferguson will officiate.

Mr. Benford, who passed away Monday, August 10, 2026 at his home in Opelika, Alabama, was born March 31, 1958, in Lee County, Alabama.

Public viewing will be Friday, August 14, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
