William Ellis Smith,68, of New Bern died on Wednesday August 12, 2026.

Service arrangements are pending at St. Paul M. B. Church 208 Perrytown Loop Rd. New Bern.

The Interment with Military Honors will follow at The St. Paul MBA Cemetery, 340 Perrytown Loop Rd.

He is survived by his wife, Felicia Blount Smith;one son, Kendall Smith; two daughters, Courtney Moore and Kendra Smith all of New Bern; four grandchildren; two brothers, Gregory Smith, Atlanta, GA and Jack Smith, Indianapolis, IN; two sisters, Rosalyn Smith, Mauritius, East Africa and Jymme-Lynn Summerville, Smyrna, GA.
