Michael Deshawn Colley

Funeral service for Michael Deshawn Colley 19, will be Friday, August 14, 2026 at 2 pm at the Oak Ridge Missionary Baptist Church with Pastor Anthony Chatmon, officiating . Interment will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery.

Mr. Colley passed away on August 2, 2026. Visitations will be on Thursday, August 13, from 1 pm until 6 pm. Mr. Colley's remains will arrive at the church one hour prior to his service. He was a 2026 graduate of Oxford High School, where he was known as a kind, respectful, and soft-spoken young man with a bright mind and a heart full of dreams.

Michael was full of ideas and had a creative spirit that shined through his passion for making musical beats. He enjoyed playing video games, spending time talking with his friends and family, and listening to music.

Survivors include his father Marcellus Colley, his mother, Latasha (Michael) Jointer; his grandmother: Yulanda Williams; his sisters: MarKeavia Colley, Arrianna Colley, Makayla Williams, Madison Colley, Kaitlyn Colley, and Gabriella Colley; aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members, and dear friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Anthony Williams, and his grandmother, Etta Colley.
