MR. HENRY FRANKLIN HEADEN, son of the late John C. and Annie J. Brower Headen, was born May 20, 1942 in New York and departed this life August 5, 2026, in Winchester, VA surrounded by his son, Dawon. He was also preceded in death by his wife- Marjorie and siblings- Dayton, James, Rosalie, John, Benjamin, Annie Mae, and Walter Headen.

Henry attended the schools of New York and later on he met and married Marjorie Wright on May 15, 1965. They moved to Arlington, VA where they attended church. They also operated a Food Truck (Ice Cream) in the Crystal City area.

In his spare time, Henry enjoyed watching his favorite teams, the NY Giants and the Pittsburg Steelers. He also loved playing lottery tickets.

Henry is survived by seven children- Dawon Headen of Winchester, VA; Ebony Headen of Raleigh NC; Tina Headen of Minneapolis, MN; David Headen of Tucson, AR; Samatha Shotwell, Silverstre and Nicholus Headen, all of South Hill, VA; four grandchildren; brother- Samuel (Samora) Headen of Greensboro, NC; sister-in-law- Shirley (Joe) Dixon of South Hill, VA and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
