Homegoing Services for Mrs. Oteria Scott, of Decatur, will be held Saturday, August 15, 2026; 11:00 A.M. at Travelers Rest Missionary Baptist Church, 2112 Rex Road Morrow, Georgia 30260. Reverend Arthur L. Powell, Pastor. The remains will be placed in state at 10:00 A.M. Interment Kennedy Memorial Gardens. A visitation will be held Friday at the mortuary from 5:00 - 8:00 P.M.

She leaves to cherish her memories, children, Karen Spikes, Phillip Barner (Wendy), Janice Dawson (Walter), Kevin Gilstrap (Sabrina), Roy Scott, Jr. (Angela), Ramonn Scott (Kerry), and Rodney Scott (Bernadette); niece, Mary Singleton; a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives, and friends.
