Her funeral service is TBA, Saturday, August 22, 2025 at Mt. Calvary M. B. Church 509 Carroll St. New Bern, NC. The interment is TBA,Monday, August 24, 2026 at West Lawn Cemetery, Elizabeth City, NC.

She is survived by her husband, Calvin O'Neal, of the home; son, Keith O'Neal, Lindenhurst, ILL; daughters, Charlotte L. O'Neal, Suitland, MD., Sharon O. Flowers, Accokeek, MD and Angela O. Anderson, Wake Forest, NC; brother, Clifton H. Elliott, Elizabeth City, NC; five grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
