David Eugene “Bull” Harrell, Jr., born August 12, 1977, in Princeton, West Virginia, passed away on August 4, 2026. He was the beloved son of Arretta Dasher and David Harrell.

David was preceded in death by his mother, Arretta Dasher; his son, David Harrell, III; his grandmother, Estelle Roberts; his grandfather, Wallace Dasher; his aunt, Charlotte Jenrette; and his uncles, Melvin Jenrette, Lester Dasher, Reginald Townsend, Robert Harrell, and Timothy Harrell.

He leaves loving memories to his brother, Christopher Dasher (Tonya); his grandmother, Christine Jenrette of Miami, Florida; his aunts, Doris Jenrette Townsend, Lashondra Jenrette of Miami, Florida, Danielle Jenrette of Miami, Florida, Terri Baker of Miami, Florida, Madeline Burger of Princeton, West Virginia, Janice Showalter of Princeton, West Virginia, and Sylvia Harrell of Columbus, Ohio; his uncle, James Harrell (Shirley) of Norfolk, West Virginia; his cousins, Cherelle Townsend, Anthony Dasher, India Dasher, and Michael Thompson; and his nieces, Taylor Dasher, Amarie Dasher, and Jordyn Dasher.

David will be remembered for his big personality and his willingness to lend a helping hand. Affectionately known as “Bull,” he had a way of leaving an impression on the people around him and was blessed with many friends who loved him dearly. His laughter, presence, and friendship will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. Though he is no longer with us, the memories he created and the love he shared will remain in the hearts of his family and friends.

Visitation will be Friday, August 14, 2026 at the Stevens-McGhee chapel from 1-7PM.
