Barbara Daley

11/24/1962 - 06/16/2026

Barbara Daley was born on November 24, 1962, in Crescent City, Florida to Clara Turner and William “Bobby” Cooper, who raised her with love, and devotion. From a young age, she displayed a vibrant spirit, a kind heart, and a natural ability to bring joy to those around her. Barbara valued education and lifelong learning, earning an Associate of Science Degree from Florida Technical College along with several childcare and professional certifications. Throughout her career, she worked at Sparton Electronics, served as a Child Care Professional with RCMA, and later as a Paraprofessional with the Putnam County School Board. Barbara found her greatest joy in working with and encouraging children, and her caring spirit left a lasting impact on the many lives she touched. Beyond her professional achievements, Barbara Daley was a woman of many passions who embraced life with joy and enthusiasm. She loved exploring new restaurants, traveling to different cities, and creating lasting memories with family and friends. Barbara also enjoyed shopping and appreciated the finer things in life, taking pride in looking her best and treating herself and those she loved. Her greatest passion, however, was nurturing and caring for others. She played an active role in raising and guiding countless children, including her students, neighborhood children, nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great-nephews. Barbara's loving spirit, generous heart, and willingness to pour into the lives of others left an enduring impact on everyone fortunate enough to know her. Barbara took great pride in her role as a daughter, sister, aunt, and friend, and the bonds she shared with her family were among her greatest treasures. She leaves to cherish her memory her loving sisters Faye Turner, Pheobe Turner, Amanda Cooper, Janice Coleman, Stephanie Cooper, and Daphne Cooper, along with a host of devoted nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends whose lives were forever touched by her love and kindness.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Clara Turner and William "Bobby" Cooper; her siblings Joyce Turner, Homer Turner, Linwood Small Sr., Lou Ann Campbell, Lucy Cooper, Telica Loftin, and Tranessa Wilson; and her beloved nephew, Tavaris Reese., whom we take comfort in knowing welcomed her with open arms. Though the pain of her loss is overwhelming, we find solace in the memories she left behind. Her spirit will live on in every shared story, every echo of laughter, and every act of love inspired by her example. We will forever carry her in our hearts.
