The funeral services for the late Mrs. Christine Jordan, who departed this life on Tuesday, June 23, 2026, will be held on Thursday, July 2, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. from the Bethlehem Baptist Church in Ashburn, Georgia. Reverend Jerry Lewis will deliver the Eulogy. Burial will follow in the Westview Memorial Cemetery in Ashburn, Georgia.

Mrs. Christine Shepherd Jordan was born on November 21, 1956 in Ashburn, Georgia to Mr. and Mrs. Albert Sr., and Eudora Lamar Shepherd.

Christine was educated in the Turner County Public School System and graduated from Turner County High School.

Christine was united in Holy Matrimony to Randolphus Jordan, Sr. Together they shared a life of love and partnership.

Christine has a passion for shopping and was an avid reader who cherished the written word. She also had a fondness for owls, which she loved to collect. Her collection reflected her appreciation for their beauty and symbolism.

Christine gave up this busy walk of life on Tuesday, June 23, 2026 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital in Albany, Georgia. She was a nurturing and encouraging parent. Her life was deeply rooted in her family and her faith.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert Shepherd, Sr. and Eudora Shepherd, her husband Randolphus Jordan, Sr., her mother-in-law, Ollie Mae Jordan, her brothers Marvin Shepherd, Thomas Shepherd, her brother-in-law Jimmy Lee Jordan, and sister-in-law Cora Lee Woodard.

Christine leaves to cherish her memories her children, Randolphus Jordan, Jr., Corey T. (Mary) Jordan, Christonia Jordan, Timothy Jordan; her fourteen grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren; her siblings Rose Mary Shepherd, Albert Shepherd, Jr., Edward Shepherd, Jerome Shepherd, Anthony Shepherd, Willie Mae Stubbs; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friends and neighbors who will remember her fondly.

Christine’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
