His Funeral Service is 1:00 PM, Saturday, July 11, 2026 at Rio Grande M. B. Church.1125 Spring Garden Rd. New Bern, NC. The interment will follow at the Williams Family Cemetery.

The family will receive friends July 9-10 from 5:00 PM 9:00 PM., at the residence 123 Richardson Road, New Bern, NC.

He is survived by his son, Bernarr Williams, Baltimore, MD; one brother, Lawrence Murphy (Vickie), Vanceboro, NC; two sisters, Johnie Murphy Lee, New Bern, NC and Doris Murphy Fonville, Winston-Salem, NC.
