Mrs. Angela L. Brown, 71, of Seale, AL passed Monday, June 29, 2026 in Seale, AL.

Funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. EST, July 10, 2026 at Fourth Street Missionary Baptist Church, Columbus, GA with Rev. Johnny Flakes, III, Pastor, officiating. Interment to follow in Mt. Missouri Baptist Church Cemetery, Pittsview, AL. Public visitation will be on Thursday, July 9, 2026 from 4 :00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. EST.

March 19, 1955 – June 29, 2026

On Monday, June 29, 2026, Angela Elizabeth Brown went home to be with her FATHER, the One she loved more than life itself.

Angela was a woman whose life was defined by love—love for God, love for her husband, love for her children, love for her family, and love for everyone blessed enough to cross her path. She was truly one of God’s special angels, and she lived her life making sure the people around her knew they were loved.

For 53 beautiful years, Angela was married to the love of her life, Rev. Davie Brown. Together, they built a life, a family, and a legacy of faith and love.

Their union was blessed with eight beautiful children: Diana (Duke), Nicole (Fred), Nadine (Kevin), Erica, Davie Jr. (deceased), Sugarlou (Andre), Lamont, and Damian.Angela deeply adored her mother, Rosenell Randolph (deceased), whom she lovingly cared for. The bond they shared was precious, and caring for her mother was one of the many ways Angela showed the depth of her love.

Her family continued to grow, blessing her with 27 grandchildren.

Angela would always say:

“I don’t have a favorite, but MY Bruh is my favorite. That’s my baby!”

Every grandchild knew it—and nobody cared—because Grandma gave every single one of them the same kind of love: big, unconditional, wholehearted love.Her legacy grew even greater with 31 great-grandchildren, each one a part of the beautiful family she loved so dearly. Angela’s heart also made room for a very special daughter of love, her goddaughter, Quisha Jett. Their bond was precious, and Quisha held a special place in Angela’s heart and in her life. She was not simply a goddaughter—she was family, loved deeply and completely.

Angela was blessed with many nieces and nephews, and she loved them all with her whole heart. But she shared an especially close bond with three: Rosevelt, Baby Susie, and Mark Anthony. She had many cousins. Arlenne and Winnie Ruth were more than cousins to her—they were her big sisters.

Angela siblings: Ronnie, Gloria Ann, Rose (deceased), Clara Jean, Joyce (deceased), Earl (deceased), Delores, Michelle Denise, Keith Antonio, Robert (deceased), Liz, and Kenneth.

Her love did not stop with blood relatives. People often thought her husband’s sisters and brothers were Angela’s own siblings. That is how deeply she loved them—and how deeply they loved her. Angela was never just a sister-in-law.She was simply Sister.Angela and her husband, Rev. Davie Brown, were faithful members of Fourth Street Baptist Church until God moved them to New Beginnings Baptist Church, where her husband served as pastor. Angela was proud to serve as First Lady and Sunday school teacher under her husband’s leadership—not simply because he was her husband, but because, as she knew so well, he lived the life he preached about.

Above everything else, Angela loved God. Her faith was not something she only talked about—it was the foundation of her life. She loved her FATHER more than life itself, and she shared that love with everyone around her.Angela also knew how to enjoy life. She loved to laugh, and one of her favorite things in the world was fishing. She loved going fishing, she loved catching the fish…and, of course, the best part was eating the fish!

Those who knew and loved Angela will forever remember her wisdom, her humor, and some of her favorite sayings:“You can’t get blood from a turnip.” "Hold what you got while you got it" “God bless the child that got his own.” “I ain't seen you since the coons died”.Angela Elizabeth Brown loved everyone she came in contact with. She had a way of making people feel like family because, in her heart, that is exactly what they became.

She was a devoted wife. A loving mother. A proud grandmother and great-grandmother. A loving godmother. A cherished daughter. A beloved sister. A treasured aunt. A faithful First Lady and Sunday school teacher. A woman who loved to laugh, loved to fish, and loved her family with her whole heart.But above all else, she was a woman who loved God. On June 29, 2026, Angela did not simply leave this life. She went home to her FATHER.Her love will continue to live in her family, and the countless lives she touched.
