Troy was born December 23, 1942, to Clarence and Mandy (Romine) Edwards in Bowie, Texas. He retired from Lockheed Martin as a master machinist and Siemens as a turbine mechanic. He was always the most positive human. He was known for his famous saying, “This is the best day ever. Couldn’t ask for anything better.”
Troy viewed the sunrise over his fields as a daily blessing. He was rarely seen without his faithful Australian Shepherd, Daisy Crockett, who sat by his truck, walked the fence line by his side, and remained his faithful companion and friend until the very end. She along with his family were by his side when he passed.
Troy will be remembered for his positive outlook, his love for his family, which was the most important thing in his life, and his appreciation for the simple blessings of each day.
He was preceded in death by his loving parents; siblings Hayward Edwards, Wiley Edwards, Willie Merle Edwards, McMillan.
