Takaury Leon Palmore

Funeral service for TaKaury Leon Palmore 25, will be Saturday, September 26, 2026 at 3:00 p.m. at the Anniston High School Performing Arts Center with Rev. Anthony Anderson, Eulogist, Rev. Clarence Henderson, Officiating. Visitation will be on Friday, 1-6 pm.

Mr. Palmore passed away on Saturday, September 12, 2026 after a motorcycle accident in Montgomery, AL. Mr. Palmore's remains will arrive at the school one hour prior to his service.

TaKaury was baptized in Christ at a young age at Washington Heights Baptist Church under the leadership of Reverend Warren G. Adams. He was born in Birmingham, AL to the late Erica Palmore and Reginald Carr. TaKaury was raised in a loving home by his mother, Erica Palmore-Goggins and his father, James Goggins. He was an Anniston High School Class of 2019 Graduate. TaKaury grew up loving drums and motorcycles. He was a dedicated member of the AHS Marching Band, where they affectionately called him, "Roach". TaKaury was also an active member of the Easy Riders Motorcycle Club of Anniston, AL, where they called him, "Yung Buck".

Survivors include his daughter: Briella Palmore; his father: William Goggins; sisters: Trinitee Goggins and Tiana English; brothers: Devontrey Carr and Hayven English; his grandparents: Timothy (Edna) Palmore and Cynthia Huff; aunts: Joycelyn (Tracy) Haynes, Timeka (Mario Montgomery, Sr.) Palmore, Melba Jamison; Godmother: Courtney Webb; Cousins: Trayshon Haynes, Timaury Haynes, Taleyah Palmore, Amber Jamison, Bryce Jamison, Mario Montgomery, Jr., Maaza Montgomery, Brandon Rouse, Jr., Brayden Rouse, and Kalayah Milton; God sisters: Tavia Gay, Markayla Webb, and Celena Dawson; God brothers: Mario Battle and Freddie Kirby, Jr.; his girlfriend: Shanice Kennedy; and a host of other friends and family.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Erica Palmore; paternal grandfather, Earnest Rob Goggins; and cousin, Tristan Palmore. Though he may no longer be with us in person, TaKaury's spirit will forever live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know and love him.
