Tiana Unique Younger
February 12, 2000 – September 19, 2026
With profound love and cherished memories, we celebrate the life of Tiana Unique
Younger, a beautiful soul whose vibrant presence brought love, kindness, joy, and laughter
into the lives of her family, friends, and all who were blessed to know her.
Tiana possessed a warmth and generosity that made people feel seen, valued, and
beautiful. A talented esthetician specializing in lashes and makeup, she had a gift for
enhancing not only outward beauty but also the confidence of those she served. Whether
someone sat in her chair or on her table, Tiana offered her attention, creativity, and care.
Her entrepreneurial spirit reflected her ambition and determination, while her generous
heart remained one of her greatest gifts.
True to her middle name, Unique, Tiana had a style all her own. She loved fashion,
expressed herself boldly and beautifully, and had a shoe collection that reflected her
unmistakable personality. Yet beyond her style and talents, it was her kindness, loyalty,
infectious spirit, and love for others that made Tiana truly unforgettable.
One of Tiana’s greatest joys was being a deeply devoted and proud “TT” to her beloved
nephew, Reon Powers. Their bond was filled with laughter and special moments—making
TikToks, watching movies, eating cookies, and simply enjoying one another’s company.
What may have seemed like ordinary moments became treasured memories of an
extraordinary love. Tiana also adored her godchild, Anyia “Maggie” Mitchell, and shared a
special bond with her dearest friends, Dinyah Israel and Sha Reed.
A true social butterfly, Tiana was blessed with a vibrant circle of friends and had a
wonderful way of bringing people together. She treasured good conversation, shared
meals, outings, celebrations, laughter, and the simple pleasure of spending time with
those she loved. Tiana embraced life with joy and enthusiasm, and her warm, energetic
spirit made her presence memorable wherever she went.
Tiana was a member of Bethel A.M.E. Church in Knoxville, where her faith journey included
active participation in the Young People’s Department (YPD), the King’s Kid Mime Ministry,
and service as a youth usher. Her leadership gifts emerged early, and she served as
President of the East Tennessee Conference YPD. She also participated in the Leadership
Training Institute, youth congresses, and the Christian Debutante and Master Program at
the Local, Conference and Connectional levels of the African Methodist Episcopal Church.
Her involvement extended beyond the church. During Tiana’s academic years, she was
crowned Queen at Sarah Moore Greene Magnet School, served as a step team coach at
Holston Middle School, was a 2018 Debutante of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, and participated in New Beginnings Praise Dance Ministry. She was also a member of Alpha Nu Multicultural Sorority, Inc., Knoxville.
Tiana attended Sarah Moore Greene Magnet Academy and Holston Middle School and
graduated from L&N STEM Academy. She continued her education at Austin Peay State University and later graduated from Douglas J. Aveda Institute in Knoxville, where she further developed her natural talents and prepared for her professional career as an
esthetician.
An entrepreneur with dreams, determination, and a desire to create something of her own,
Tiana found in her profession an opportunity for her creativity and love of beauty to flourish. Her work was more than a career; it was another way for her to encourage others and help them recognize the beauty within themselves.
Tiana was the beloved daughter of Voltaire Younger and the late Dyamond Davis, and the
cherished granddaughter of Pamela Younger.
She shared the bonds of family with her siblings: Takeidra Jones, Thaiya Davis, Mahogany
Smith, JaDarruis Blue, Layla Houston, and Eric Younger.
Her loving family also includes her aunts and uncles: Donna Younger; Courtne Jackson;

Suggs; her cousin, Mercydes Davis; her great-grandparents, Manuel and Haynie Lou Mims,

Though Tiana’s life was far too brief, the measure of her life is not found simply in the number of years she lived, but in the love she gave, the relationships she nurtured, the beauty she created, the laughter she shared, and the memories she leaves behind.
Tiana Unique Younger was, indeed, truly unique—beautiful in spirit, generous in heart,
ambitious in purpose and deeply loved. Her light will continue to shine through her family,
her friends, and every life she touched.
