Retired Petty Officer First Class Charlene Melissa Peay 55, of 610 Rosewood Lane, Blythewood, SC and formerly of Blackstock, SC departed this earthly life on Saturday September 12, 2026, at Lexington Community Hospice House, Lexington, SC.

Funeral service will be held on Saturday September 19, 2026, at11:00am at New Zion Baptist Church in Blackstock, SC, Rev. Teresa Jones officiating, Bishop Jalen Whittleton, eulogist. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery with Full Military Honors. Public viewing 2-6pm on Friday at King's Funeral Home, 135 Cemetery Street, Chester, SC.
