Pamela Cobin, born February 25, 1964, passed peacefully on September 24, 2026, leaving behind a life marked by faith, creativity, generosity, and a love that will remain with those who knew her.

Born in Manhattan, New York, Pamela was the daughter of Mary Cobin and the late Henry Cobin, and one of three daughters alongside her sisters, Rosemary Cobin and Mable Cobin. Family was woven throughout the story of her life, and she held a special place as an aunt to Mary “Maggie” Santiago and Ashley Santiago, and as a great-aunt to Naimah Hill and twin nephews Kyrie and Cairo Hill. She leaves behind these loved ones, along with extended family and friends who will carry her memory forward.

Pamela carried a creative spirit and a mind that was rarely still. In her younger years, she could transform the simplest materials into delicate bouquets of handmade flowers, finding beauty where others might have seen only ordinary things. She found joy in the quiet things, too—in a good book, baking pastries, writing stories of her own, and puzzles that invited her to sit awhile and figure them out. Whether creating, reading, writing, or simply piecing something together, she had a way of finding meaning and enjoyment in the little things.

But at the center of her life was her faith.

She loved God deeply and without reservation. Her Bible was not something that simply occupied a place in her home; it was read, cherished, and lived. And when a passage spoke to her, everyone was going to hear about it. It didn’t matter if you read it for yourself a hundred times before—she wanted everyone to know what she read, rediscovered, and what it meant to her. She was proud of the Lord she served and made sure anyone who had the pleasure of meeting her knew it.

Pamela’s absence will be deeply felt. She will be remembered with love, spoken of often, and carried in the hearts of her family and close friends always. For a woman who devoted so much of her life to speaking proudly of the Lord she loved, there is no better fitting farewell than to trust that she is now at peace in His presence.
