Charles A. Henderson Jr, “Chuck” was born September 16, 1960 to the late Juanita LaVerne Hall and Charles A. Henderson, Sr. Also proceeding his passing, his sister Sandra R. Bartley Jones and his brother Clarence Jordan.

Chuck graduated from East High School, Memphis, TN. Chuck met the love of his life Sandra F. Whitmore in August, 1991 and wed in November 1991. They were married nearly 35 years.

Chuck also leaves to celebrate his homegoing: his sisters, Angela Sullivan (William), and Cheryl Henderson, and his brothers, Kenneth Robinson, Kirby Jordan, Charles Anthony Henderson, Michael Henderson, and Paul Carter, his children Braxton M. (Chalis), Chaise L. (Maxine), bonus daughters, ShaRhondrea F. (Marcus) and April D. (Tyrone), and bonus son, Johnston G., Two God daughters: Cassie McGill and Markeita Ross. Grand Children; Braylon, Laila, Silas, Aldon and Owen. Bonus Granddaughter: Zoe, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws, very close friends, best friend since age 5, Phil Turner.

Chuck loved reading, music, fishing, going to the shooting range and hanging out with family and friends.

Chuck accepted Christ at an early age. He truly loved God and lived his life for God. He served as a deacon at The Healing Center & The Upper Room Empowerment Center.

A memorial service is scheduled for 3 pm Sunday September 27, 2026 at The Healing Center, 3885 Tchulahoma Rd Memphis, TN.
