Collins a marriage of 76 years; his sister, Shirley Mae Whitney; brothers, Ernest Collins (wife Annette Collins), Eugene Collins, PC­Persivia Collins (wife Nona Collins}; his children: Vernon Collins (wife Alphea), Deborah Carey-Sudler, Byron Collins (wife Jackie Collins); his grandchildren: Jamie Collins (wife Maria Collins}, Ashley Collins (wife Katherine Collins), Kristopher Collins.
