Gloria Dean Campbell, of Hermitage, Pennsylvania peacefully transitioned on Wednesday, September 30, 2026, while at home and surrounded by her loving family. She was 68 years young. She was born on March 12, 1958, in Sharon, Pennsylvania to the union of Mike and Dorothy Prince.
Gloria graduated from Farrell High School in 1976. She then went on to spend time at The Wheeler School of Business in Pittsburgh, PA. After her time there, she began driving for Mercer County Transit. Gloria then went on to work at General Motors, as a paint specialist, where she retired after 30 years. Her work ethic and commitment to excellence inspired her colleagues and made a significant impact on the lives of those around her.
In her spare time, Gloria loved babysitting her great-great niece Myka, who kept her spirits high. She also loved to walk daily in Buhl Park with her dog Jaxxson, before he passed. Gloria loved to be surrounded by her family, and she was always the life of the party. She would always be the one singing and dancing and photographs had to be taken so she could show that beautiful smile. Yet her favorite pastime was retail therapy. Gloria loved shopping and especially fidning a good bargain at TJ Maxx.
Gloria's legacy is entrusted to two sons Jamel Prince of Houston, TX and Rashad Campbell of Chevy Chase, Maryland. Her one grandson Zion, whom she loved dearly. Her loss also is mourned by Derrick Cianciola, her companion of twenty years. Precious memories are shared among her siblings Larry Prince of Farrell, PA, Linda Blue (Michael) of Farrell, PA and Pamela Prince of Orlando, FL.
Gloria leaves cherished memories with her nieces which includes Iesha O’Kane (Esnesto), who was like her daughter, Denise Evans, Keisha Tann (Darrell), Diana Prince, Alesha Blue and Dorian Prince. She also loved her nephews, Maurice Evans (Latieshia), Michael Archie (Crystal), Carl James (Michelle), Michael Davis (Alyssa), DeMarco Prince (Bridgette). Fondest memories are retained by her godson Mike Williams, goddaughter Lindsay Sims-Lewis, best friend Rose Mary Sims Lewis, along with a host of family and friends she loved immensely.
As Gloria entered eternity, she was reunited with her parents and siblings Alma Jean Evans Julia Walker and brother Wesley Prince. Even as she was transitioning, Psalms 34:1, “I will praise the Lord at all times. His praise shall continually be in my mouth!" was still her mantra.
