OPELOUSAS – Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 17, 2026, 2026 at Ford and Joseph Funeral Home in Opelousas, LA for Ms. Ruby Faye Collins, 67, who entered eternal rest on Wednesday, October 7, 2026 at her residence in Opelousas, LA.

Rev. Junius Egby along with Pastor Brian Keith Alfred will be officiating the funeral service.

Ms. Collins’ memories are being cherished by: her daughter, Angela Thierry of Opelousas, LA; one brother, Joseph (Jackie) Collins, III of Mamou, LA; two sisters, Verda Neville Coleman (Mark) of Plaisance, LA and Mary Jack of Eunice, LA; Godson, Christopher Neville Phillips of Opelousas, LA; five grandchildren, Angelica Thierry, Imani Savoy, Layla Bryant; Jamarious Bryant and Amelia Bryant; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by: her mother, Elvina Neville and father, Joseph Collins, Jr.; maternal grandparents, Ike and Edna Neville; Godmother, Edna Alice Newman; and husband, Roy Brown.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 17, 2026, from 8:00 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. at Ford and Joseph Funeral Home.
