Elliott Davis Jr., loving son of the late Elliott Davis Sr. and Edna Cutter Davis, was born July 18, 1942, in Savannah, Georgia. He graduated in 1964 from Beach High School in Savannah. He soon moved to New York, where he met and married JoAnn Willis (Davis), who preceded him in death.

He had a prosperous career as an ironworker (foreman) for 54 years, which eventually brought him to retire from SRS 19 years ago.

He leaves to cherish and remember him his children, Elec Davis and Alicia Davis (Augusta); grandchildren, Carlos (North Carolina); Marisa (Sean) Pooler (Ga); Marquie (Macon, Ga.); Brandon (Augusta, Ga.); great-grandchildren, Taryn (North Carolina); Maqai Ishmael (Augusta, Ga.); Mya (Pooler, Ga.); brothers, Lester (Constance) Davis (Savannah, Ga.); Frederick (Palma) Davis (Savannah, Ga.); and Carl (Sheila) Davis (Savannah, Ga.)

Two sisters preceded him in death, Luretha Davis and Juanita Bryant Davis (Savannah, Ga.). Also listed are Willie Davis and Willadean Davis, along with a large host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Public viewing will be Friday, August 21, 2026, from 2pm to 6pm at the funeral home.

A Celebration of Life will be at 3 pm, August 22, 2026, at Kinsey & Walton Chapel.
