It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Mrs. Catherine Elizabeth Dickey-Lawyer of Tallahassee, Florida.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, August 22, 2026, at St. Mary Primitive Baptist Church – Georgia Street, with burial to follow at Southside Cemetery.

Left to cherish her life, love and memory are her two sons, Reginald Lawyer (Carolyn) and Jessie Lawyer; three daughters, Alice Fisher, Mary Cottman (Maurice) and Carol Lawyer; four brothers, Franklin Dickey, Leroy Dickey, Amos Dickey (Carrie) and Roscoe Dickey (Valeria); nine sisters, Alberta Thompson, Eula Paul, Hattie Slater, Robbie Adams, Shenezia Jackson (Roy), Cathy Adams, Pennie Hawkins, Rebecca Ardley and Cornelia DeBoles (Donald); 11 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, 5 great, great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
