With heartfelt sorrow and profound gratitude for a life well lived, we announce the passing of Sharron Denise McKibbens, who entered eternal rest surrounded by the love of family and the grace of God.

Born on June 10, 1959, in Nashville, Tennessee, Sharron was the beloved daughter of Lucille McKibbens and the late Robert McKibbens. At an early age, Sharron accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior and was baptized at St. Matthew Baptist Church, where her faith journey began. Throughout her life, her faith remained a cornerstone of her character and a source of strength, hope, and compassion.

Sharron was educated in the Nashville public school system and graduated from Hume-Fogg High School. Following graduation, she earned an associate degree in business along with a secretarial certificate from Branell College, laying the foundation for a dedicated career that reflected her strong work ethic and commitment to excellence. She worked for The United States Postal Service and later Communications Test Design, Inc., where she built lasting friendships and earned the respect of colleagues through her diligence and professionalism.

Above all else, Sharron cherished her family. She was a loving and devoted mother to her cherished child, Marcell (Jennifer) McKibbens, who brought immeasurable joy and pride to her life. Her greatest delight was being "Mimi" to her beloved grandchildren, Jaydyn, Savannah, Mya, and Sophie, each of whom held a special place in her heart and were blessed by her unwavering love and encouragement.

Sharron leaves behind a loving family who will forever treasure the memories they shared. She is survived by her siblings, Kerry McKibbens and Darryl (Felicia) McKibbens, and was preceded in death by her brothers, Robert Baker and Vincent McKibbens. She is also lovingly remembered by her nieces and nephews: Sheronda (James) Simpson, Veronica Newsome, Robert (Tyran) Baker, Darrius (Brianna) McKibbens, Kerry (Kaila) McKibbens, and Xaveia McKibbens, along with a host of great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, extended family members, and dear friends.

To know Sharron was to love her. She was selfless, family-centered, and fiercely loyal. Her warmth could light up any room, and her infectious spirit made her the life of every gathering. Whether offering a helping hand, sharing words of encouragement, or simply making others laugh, Sharron had a remarkable gift for making people feel loved and valued. Her kindness knew no boundaries, and her devotion to those she cared about was unwavering.

Though our hearts are heavy with grief, we rejoice in the countless memories she leaves behind and the legacy of love she instilled in those fortunate enough to know her. Her laughter, wisdom, generosity, and beautiful spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of her family and friends for generations to come.

Sharron will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever cherished.
